Welcome to the Spring 2013 Career Fair
Thank you for visiting and we are thrilled in your interest in the Iowa State Engineering Career Fair!
On the sidebar to the right you will see some important dates for our Career Fair and a link to your CMS account to checkout who’s hiring before you even meet the companies! As February 12th approaches, we will be adding more tips, tricks, dates, and information to the website to make sure you are the most informed when it comes to landing that dream interview and job.
Make sure you attend our events leading up to the Career Fair so you are prepared when it comes time to talk to those employers. We have a student panel Feb. 5th from 6-7:30pm, student seminars Feb. 10th from noon-3:45pm, and an employer panel Feb. 11th from 6-7:30pm. Sign-up information for these events will be posted on the blog soon so be sure to check back!

We had a great first event on Tuesday. Wanting some more information? Thought of some more questions to ask? Wheren’t able to make it to the Student Panel?
Don’t worry!!!!
Tomorrow afternoon we are hosting seminars in Hoover 2055. There are many different seminar topics for all majors and for everyone from 1st year to 5th year seniors. Topics include interviewing like a pro to how to transition from college to the real world. Sign-up on the link on the right to submit your preferences for which seminars you would like to attend.
Don’t forget Monday night is the Employer Panel also.

Career Fair Information
The Career Fair is coming!! The Career Fair is coming!!
An email was sent out last night to all Engineering students that contained a copy of the map of Scheman and Hilton for the Career Fair. As you may have notice employers for ALL ENGINEERING MAJORS will be in both SCHEMAN AND HILTON. This means that more and more companies are coming to ISU to look for students, this is amazing. Make sure you check out ALL of the employers coming to the Career Fair by going to both buildings.
If you missed this email all the information can be found on the CMS website. Select Events tab on the homepage then click on the 2012 Engineering & Business, Industry & Technology Career Fairs. Click Advanced Search tab and choose the Engineering Fall Career Fair option, select your major and type of employment you are seeking and hit Submit.

The Career Fair is only 1 WEEK AWAY. But don’t worry if have some questions or need some guidance about anything having to do with the Career Fair, CMS, and getting your dream internship, co-op or job. Tonight from 5:30-6:30 pm in Hoover 2055 there will be a panel of successful ISU Engineering students to answer all your question.
